Anyway, a lot of things have happened since I last posted.
Thing the first: I SAW MOCKINGJAY PART 1 AND
OH
MY
GODS.
It was IHIOP'EGQWiopy'ipu'efqIOP'ERVOY8[IPY'IQRWY[ICJMOQU[0 (keyboard spasm because I have no words) It was just so brilliantly done, and followed the book so well! It made me cry and it was so tense and amazing and perfect and beautiful. LOVELOVELOVE
Thing the second: I finished The Heroes of Olympus: The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan and The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin (reviews coming whenever I can be bothered which is hopefully soon) and both were brilliant. Mara Dyer was suitably creepy and disturbing (hashtag naraforeva) and I have seriously been missing out through all the years I haven't been reading PJ. I'VE MISSED SO MUCH.
Thing the third: This isn't particularly bookish put ALL TIME LOW. Excuse me, but where did this incredible band come from. If you haven't listened to their music yet I implore you, GO, GO MY LOVLEYS AND LISTEN. Damn they're good. *skips off into the distance singing Weightless*
Thing the fourth: You probably won't be too interested but I've thought of a new writing project! Here's the rough blurb (btw I would incredibly grateful if you gave me some feed back LOVE YOU GUYS) Blurb idea:
Bree’s father is a member of the world’s most prestigious organisation.
Bright was created to protect the country as the rise of the mutants continued and the IQ number to be eligible for the group was impossibly high; Albert Einstein high. For as long as she can remember, Bree has lived under the intensive pressure of her father, knowing that when she reached fifteen she would have to take the test.
But there’s a problem. A problem that only Bree knows about and only Bree can fix.
Bree is a mutant, yet she’s going to join a group made to destroy them.
Ooh that was green. I like! BYEE!
