Something that irritates me about the book world (there's really very little) is that books, or someone that reads books is often represented as a stereotype for nerdy-ness or someone who's bullied. Why is it that something like art, or sports is considered cool and everyone envies those that are particularly good at drawing or swimming, say. It's like this for writing too. Example: Think of all the boys you know. How many want to become famous sports stars, and how many want to become authors.
I may be completely wrong here. I may be making a huge generalisation. But this is just something I've discovered while watching numerous TV shows, Youtube videos and things around school. Do feel free to comment on this, maybe yell at me in capitals about how bigger generalisation I'm making, or maybe (even better) write your own experiences.
